Scott Vergano graduated from Princeton University in 1989 and earned his MD degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY in 1993.  After completing pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia in 1996, he has worked in pediatric practices in Denville, NJ and Norfolk, VA.  Coming from a family of educators, he enjoys teaching and served as course director for first- and second-year medical students at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Associate Pediatric Residency Director at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters from 2017-2024.  He and his family moved to Seattle in 2024.  He lives with his wife Samantha, a pediatric geneticist at Seattle Children’s, one daughter, and a seemingly ever-increasing number of cats.  Scott considers it a joy and privilege to care for families and to share in the growth and development of children from infancy to adulthood. His hobbies include biking, watching baseball and football, and tap dancing.
