General Office Policies
- We follow the standards of the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics). Well child exams are generally done at 7-14 days, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 ½ years, 3 years and then yearly thereafter. Most insurance plans cover these, however, since we cannot quote insurance benefits, please call your carrier.
- Woodinville Pediatrics is NOT a walk-in or urgent care clinic. If your child has a condition that you feel needs to be treated, please call first.
- If you leave a message for a nurse, it may take 24 hours for a call back. Nurse calls are triaged based on medical urgency.
- After hours calls are an additional $25 charge (outside of 8am-5pm and during 12pm-1pm M-F, and outside of 8:30am-12pm Saturday) and after hours appointments are an additional $40 charge (5pm or later during weekdays, and all Saturday appointments).
- Saturday appointments are same day scheduled appointments for semi-urgent issues (such as ear infection, cough).
- We offer lab hours Monday through Friday, 9-11:00am and 2-4:30pm by appointment only.
- Our forms can be found at woodinvillepediatrics.com, under “Resources”, then “Forms”.
- If you send your child with someone other than the parent, please fill out a Medical Consent Form in advance.
- Please allow 1-2 weeks if you are requesting copies of your medical record.
- Please allow 5 business days if you are requesting a medical form, sports form, or other form to be signed by your provider.
- Prescription refill requests take up to 5 business days. Please contact your pharmacy first prior to contacting our office.
- We request updated registration forms yearly.
- If your child is being seen for Well Child Check and you have other concerns that are not related to routine wellness care, those concerns may generate additional charges.
- Per AAP standard-of-care guidelines, certain questionnaires are recommended at your visit. These may not be covered by insurance.
- Our portal is available to sign up and use. You may contact our office if you need assistance with activation.
- Co-pays are due at the time of your appointment. If not paid, an additional fee of $25 will be charged.
- Check in time is 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
- If you are late for your appointment by 10 minutes or more, you might be asked to reschedule. Please provide 24 hours notice of cancellation to avoid a $50 charge.
- We charge $50 for a WCC or consult no show.
- Medical supplies given to you at a visit can be billed to your insurance. These items may not be a covered benefit.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. We do our best to provide high quality care to all of our patients. We will not tolerate rude and inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to: yelling, swearing, and making degrading or demeaning remarks to staff. We reserve the right to terminate care if this policy is violated.
