With the news of some measles cases in King County, we want to remind families that the most effective protection against measles is being up to date on MMR. If your child is 4 years or older, they should have received two doses of MMR. If your child is between 12 months and 4 years, they should have had at least one dose, given at 12 months or older. If your child fits either of those criteria, make a lab appointment and we can give the vaccine. We are not offering early MMR vaccination at this time, and are continuing to monitor and follow Public Health Department recommendations. WA DOH link here.
